Dave Sekura: Camp Director

Dave Sekura returned in 2010 as the Executive Director for Fort Bluff Camp and the NACA. Dave first came to Dayton, TN, in 1989, two years out of Pensacola Christian College. He served the camp and NACA family of friends for nineteen blessed years before leaving in 2008. Using basketball as his platform to proclaim the Word, Dave played seven seasons with the Crossfire Ministries basketball team. Crossfire plays college teams here in the states as well as internationally presenting the Gospel at halftime to the crowds. Dave transitioned from player to recruiter and coach as a staff missionary for SCORE International beginning in 2008. SCORE has taken athletes overseas on short-term mission trips for the last twenty-seven years. Now many of the NACA athletes are enjoying these life-changing mission trips. Dave married Stephanie in 1992 and they have one daughter, Allison.
Eric Champion: Program Director

While this is Eric's first year on the NACA staff, he has been involved in Fort Bluff/NACA events since 1993. He is originally from Kalamazoo, Michigan. Eric played basketball at Tennessee Temple University for four years. He married Christy Shepherd in 1998 and have three beautiful children - Stone, Olivia, and Riley. From 1998-2011 Eric taught sophomore history, and coached boys basketball at North Florida Christian School in Tallahassee, FL. The Champions surrendered to the mission field in February 2009 to work with SCORE International in Costa Rica. SCORE was founded by Ron Bishop in 1985. Coach Bishop discussed a huge ministry need in San Jose, Costa Rica. There they will be using sports to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. Currently they are on full-time deputation. While they finish raising support, Eric and his family have moved to Dayton, TN where Eric is temporarily filling the position of Associate Director of the NACA.
